Hydroprisma - PRISMA S.p.A.

Production and sale of radiators, heaters, towel-warmers for the bathroom in steel and stainless steel, using automated laser welding systems.

HOW WE WORK

Our production is carried out entirely and solely in Italy, in accordance with the EN ISO 9001 standards regarding the manufacturing process and in accordance with the EN 442 standard regarding heat yields.
This standard stipulates that the Δt (thermal rise) is 50° C between the temperature of the incoming water (70° C) and the room temperature (20° C). Note: not all the technical specifications of products on the market respect this standard; our specifications also show the yields with thermal rises that are other than 50° C, specifically: 42.5° C and 60° C. This makes it easier for purchasers to find the model that is just right for their requirements.

Our company works in complete accordance with ethical standards with regard to child labour and clandestine labour. Our clients can rest assured that when they purchase our products they run no risk of buying products manufactured in unknown countries and with non-guaranteed quality.

For all our stainless steel models, PRISMA s.p.a. – HYDROPRISMA use material that is produced in accordance with EN 10088.1 type 1.4301, known as AISI 304, which is used with total safety in the cycle of drinking water. To that end, Prisma s.p.a. has registered a patent for an energy-saving feature that may be of interest to hotels, residences and large communities that use hot domestic water to heat stainless steel radiators, which are therefore used as transportation tubing, with total assurance that this water remains absolutely fit to drink.

The usage plan may be seen in Figure 1, where there is a boiler (10) that heats, through the storage heater (12), cold domestic water. The domestic water is fed to the storage heater through the hydraulic network (23), using a non-return valve (24).
The hot domestic water thus produced is maintained in circulation by a pump (13) with a non-return valve (14) downstream.
The tubing (15) feeds the faucets/taps, which are reduced for diagrammatic simplicity to a washbasin (16). Whatever is consumed comes out from the faucets and is integrated by the network (23).
Whatever is not consumed returns to the storage heater.
In a hotel, for example, as soon as a room is occupied a three-way solenoid valve (21) may be activated; this valve deviates the circuit of hot domestic water into the radiator (20) and after it has passed through the radiator and heated it, and with it the bathroom, it returns through a non-return valve (22) into the recirculation network.
All of which takes place with the minimum consumption of thermal energy and only to occupied rooms, even during the seasons when the heating is turned off. The system also has a guarantee of hygiene that lasts 25 years.

That’s how long our radiators are guaranteed

There are multiple variations of use possible for this system: heated shelves above the bath-tub, heated under-sinks, serpentines, but always made entirely of stainless steel.

Upon specific request by the designers or clients, our factory can produce radiators in sizes different from the standard dimensions, within the limits possible.
